The National Weather Service will offer free storm-spotter training sessions May 1-3 in Pagosa Springs, Durango and Cortez.
All trainings will start at 6 p.m. at these locations:
May 1, Archuleta County Office of Emergency Management, 777 County Road 600, Pagosa Springs.May 2, Exhibit Hall at La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave., Durango.May 3, Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office, 730 E. Driscoll St., Cortez.An optional advanced training will follow the basic training in Durango.
Those interested in severe weather are welcome to attend all sessions.
