The Dove Creek Lady Bulldogs volleyball team won in straight sets at Ouray on Thursday, 3-0 (25-8, 25-8, 25-20).
Dove Creek (3-3, 3-1 1A San Juan Basin League) won its third straight match and swept the season series over Ouray.
The girls are really starting to learn how to play together, Lady Bulldogs coach Scott Knuckles said. We had an opportunity to put in our JV in the third set. It was great to get them that playing experience with some of our starters out.
Dove Creek will host Utahs Monument Valley High School on Tuesday at 5 p.m. in a nonconference match.
