Cortez native Eli Tomac finished in fourth place of the 250 Lites MX Class point standings of the American Motorcyclist Association 2011 motocross season.
The 18-year-old totaled 314 points this season after his ninth-place finish in Round 12 at Pala Raceway in Pala, Calif., last Saturday. Racing his Honda CRF250R for Geico Powersports Honda factory racing team, Tomac recorded seven top five finishes this season.
