San Juan Mountains Association and San Juan Public Lands are now scheduling fall field trips for schools to local forest service sites, as well as classroom presentations. Programs are age appropriate for kindergarten through fifth grade, correlated to state standards and taught by knowledgeable volunteers from the U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Bureau of Land Management and general public.
