I hope you will read this letter and consider my stance that methane is a serious problem and most toxic for those of us living under the largest methane cloud ever witnessed.
To not support stricter regulations for capturing and re-using methane and for controlling leaks (including flaring) is, in my opinion insanity (and/or greed).
I realize corporate resource extraction industries consider themselves “losers” should the health and safety of local residents take precedence over their profit margins. Let’s face it, they’ll still be earning billions, and we’ll get a foot in the door to dismantle our current status as a “sacrifice zone.”
Who are you voting for? With increased local support for clean-up and ongoing regulation – vote for us.
Keep Colorado safe, clean and tourist-friendly with stricter controls over our air, water, and land as gas and oil drilling activities increase.
