The Montezuma-Cortez High School baseball team opened Southwestern League play with road losses at Fruita Monument, 11-8, and Montrose, 20-1, last Friday and Saturday.
M-CHS (4-6, 0-2 5A/4A SL) host Grand Junction and Grand Junction Central on Friday and Saturday at 4 p.m. and 10 a.m. at McAndrew Field.
