There will be a community meeting on local reservoir access and mussel inspections on Thursday, March 30, at 6 p.m. at the Conference Center at Destination Grill, in Cortez.
Federal, state and local agencies will present information for the boat inspection program at McPhee Reservoir for the 2017 season. New rules for other local lakes will also be presented. Local water managers are tightening up regulations to prevent a mussel contamination, which may damage local irrigation infrastructure.
