Most of the problems are near the roads

Dear Editor:

As someone who visits the Boggy-Glade Forest on a regular basis for recreation and wood gathering, I need to respond to the crimes and bodies letter printed recently. In 15 years of going there, it is obvious to me that most of the litter is adjacent to roads — couches and appliances are always near roads and meth labs, too, as are most of the post-hunting and partying messes up there. There is still trash in one of my favorite areas from a hunting camp last fall. Maybe the writer should go out and visit the forest before speculating about crimes and terrorists out there — mostly it’s critters and non-motorized trail users that I see.
