On behalf of the Battle of the Bars Charity Golf Tournament, the committee would like to thank the individuals and businesses that helped to make this year a successful charity event with $1,400 raised. The Columbine Bar, Dry Dock and Hollywood Bar fielded teams with 40 golfers participating.

The funds raised will go the Dolores Fire Department and Dolores Search and Rescue from the Hollywood Bar, the 2011 winning team.

Specifically, we would like to especially thank our overall event sponsor Standard Branch Company/Budweiser for its promotional banner and most generous gifts. Special thanks go to Micah Rudosky and his staff at Conquistador Golf Course for their part in running a successful tournament and to L.J. Harting and John Nelson for their help during the tournament.

We also would like to thank our hole sponsors and contributors: A Sign & More, Antonio’s Mexican Restaurant, Aborena, Basin Motorcycle Works, Big ‘O’ Tires, Bill Stanley – Re/Max, Boren Storage, Cellar Cuts, Choice Building Supply, Cortez KOA, Dolores Liquor, House of Carpets, Keesee Motors, Main Street Brewery, Mancos Liquors, Mancos Pizza, Mancos Valley Bank, Mountain Stone, Riverfront Pizza, Safeway Food & Drug, Terra Environmental Designs, and Terri’s Hair & Nails.

Battle of the Bars Committee members Holly Cruser, Winnie Anthony, Joan and John Nelson and Mike and Anita Nelson.
