TUESDAY, JULY 5

Ÿ Darius John Jameson Wells, 19, of Towaoc, was found guilty/pleaded no contest (nolo contendere) to one count of possession of an illegal weapon, and driving while ability impaired. This is the defendant’s second DUI conviction. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail with four days credit for time served, and must report to jail on July 8. He was sentenced to two years supervised probation and must report to state probation on this same date. He was ordered to pay $2,046.50 in fines and costs. Additionally, he must perform 48 hour of community service, to be completed by June 1, 2012. Probation and community service is concurrent with his DUI count. He must attend victim impact panel, Alive at 25, and level two education and 68 hours of therapy Track C, and must submit to random tests for drugs and alcohol. All standard conditions of probation apply, including no alcohol or illegal drug use. Defendant must engage in treatment within 15 days of this sentence or his jail release, and also was ordered to obtain his GED.

Ÿ Craig A. Watkins, 35, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of driving while under restraint-alcohol-related. He received a deferred sentence of 30 days in jail, with jail suspended as part of plea in case 10T293 if the defendant completes inpatient treatment. He also received a deferred sentence of 24 months unsupervised probation. He was ordered to pay $198 in fines and costs.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 6

Ÿ Charles Russell Hall, 43, of Mancos, pleaded guilty to one count of marijuana possession-under 2 ounces. He was ordered to pay $428.50 in fines and costs within 30 days.

Ÿ Dustin R. Marion, 20, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count underage possession of alcohol. He received a deferred sentence of 12 months probation. He was ordered to pay $209.50 in fines and costs, and must violate no laws, traffic or criminal, and keep his address current with the court.

Ÿ Warren J. Charlie, 18, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was ordered to pay $228.50 in fines and costs.

Ÿ Kelsie L. Killingbeck, 18, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of disorderly conduct-fighting in public. She received a deferred sentence of 12 months unsupervised probation. She was ordered to pay $184.50 in fines and costs, and must perform 48 hours of community service, to be completed by Jan. 6, 2012. She must violate no laws, traffic or criminal, and must keep her address current with the court.

Ÿ Tiffany M. Killingbeck, 20, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of disorderly conduct-fighting in public. She received a deferred sentence of 12 months unsupervised probation. She was ordered to pay $184.50 in fines and costs, and must perform 48 hours of community service, to be completed by Jan. 1, 2012. She must violate no laws, traffic or criminal, and must keep her address current with the court.
