Former Montezuma-Cortez basketball standout Kirk Archibeque has helped lead Starogard, Poland, based Polpharma into the Tauron (Polish) Basketball League playoffs.
Polpharma (11-11) will be the No. 5 seed against fourth-seeded Energa Czarni (14-8) in the first-round, best-of-five series. Polpharma will be at Energa Czarni for games one and two on Friday and Saturday, before the series shifts to Starogard.
Archibeque, a center, led Polpharma in rebounds in the regular-season with 6.6 per game and averaged 9.7 points pg, while shooting 62 percent from the field.
