Southwest Open School will host its first-ever benefit dinner to support the technology fund, Director Charlotte Wolf said.
The event will take place Saturday, March 4 at the Cortez Elks Lodge. Tickets are $40 in advance or $45 at the door.
“We are hoping to have more people to come and join us for this wonderful opportunity,” Wolf said.
The evening will feature presentations by SWOS board members and testimonials from students, she said. The goal is to raise money for technology equipment at the school, such as computers.
A live auction and dessert auction will follow the dinner. All SWOS board members will be at the event, as well as several students, Wolf said.
“We hope to have a lot of community feedback,” she said.
