Empire Electric has announced a planned outage for Towaoc from 3-5 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 12 as it completes maintenance of one of its substations.
The outage will affect all of Empire Electric’s members living in or near Towaoc and the surrounding area.
A second outage is required to complete this substation maintenance. It is scheduled for 3-5 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26.
Empire suggests that residents power down critical systems and back up computers to prepare for the outage.
