In reference to the article “Every one belted in” (Journal, Aug. 9): When did the city start having Cortez deputies?
And since when does a law enforcement officer have the option of not wanting to be identified when reporting on the accident?
If people can’t “own” what they are talking about, they shouldn’t be saying anything!
