The Rocky Mountain Ford Dealers have donated a 2011 Ford XLT F150 4x4 Super Crew pickup truck to the Colorado 4-H Foundation to help raise funds for 4-H. Photos of the truck to be raffled may be viewed online at www.co4hfoundation.colostate.edu. The photos show a removable wrapper. This year there will be a secnd prize, a gas grill, third and fourth prize $750 cash, and fifth prize $500 cash.
Forty percent from each ticket sold by Montezuma County 4-H will go to support the local 4-H program. The remaining funds will be used to fund special 4-H youth programs. Tickets cost $5 each, or $20 for five tickets. You can purchase your tickets at the Montezuma County Extension office located at 109 W. Main St., Room 102 (county courthouse) in Cortez during regular office hours Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Ticket sales end Tuesday, Aug. 16.
The drawing will be held at the Colorado State Fair, in Pueblo on Monday, Sept. 5 at 6 p.m. For more information, call the local Extension office at 565-3123.
