Tuesday, March 15

1:20 p.m.: A man was arrested on two warrants at Montezuma County Court.

12:30 p.m.: A woman who had exposed her breasts before and during police questioning at the Knight’s Inn on W. Main St. was arrested on suspicion of harassment, domestic violence, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

12:08 p.m.: A woman was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault and domestic violence after an incident at a residence in the 400 block of S. Chestnut St.

10:35 p.m.: A man and woman reported that windshields on their two vehicles had been broken.

Wednesday, March 16

8:57 p.m.: A man was arrested at McDonald’s on suspicion of violating a protection order.

9:43 a.m.: A man and woman reported that items valued at $1,750 had been stolen from her property in the 10 block of W. Fifth St.

Thursday, march 17

10:03 p.m.: A woman was cited for possession of alcohol and an open container in Parque de Vida.

1:34 p.m.: A bicycle was reported stolen at the Kiva School on 25 N. Beech St.

4 p.m.: A man and woman were cited for possessing alcohol and an open container in Centennial Park.

2:31 p.m.: A man was issued a summons for attempting to distribute less than 4 ounces of marijuana from The Mail Room on Main St.

Friday, March 18

7:45 p.m.: A man in the 1400 block of E. Mesa Verde was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault and domestic violence.

6:17 p.m.: A woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant at the Cortez Recreation Center.

3:46 p.m.: A man was arrested at City Market on a warrant from the U.S. Marshall’s Office.

12:23 p.m.: Police responded to a call of a man swimming nude in a Parque de Vida pond and arrested him on an outstanding warrant from La Plata County, disturbing the peace, interfering with an officer, and possessing alcohol and an open container in the park. A female companion was cited for possessing alcohol and an open container.

Saturday, March 19

5:13 p.m.: A driver in the parking lot of Burger Boy in the 400 block of E. Main St. was arrested on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se, driving with a revoked license, violating a protection order and violating bond conditions.

10:30 a.m.: A pedestrian in the 400 block of E. Main St. was arrested on suspicion of being intoxicated in the roadway.

Sunday, March 20

9:32 p.m.: A woman at a residence in the 600 block of N. Washington St. was arrested on suspicion of violating bond conditions and possession of drug paraphernalia.

9:24 p.m.: A woman at a residence in the 600 block of N. Washington St. was arrested on two outstanding warrants.

1:02 p.m.: A man who was reportedly fighting in the City Market parking was arrested on an outstanding warrant and interfering with a police officer.

11:12 a.m.: An officer responded to a report of girls fighting at the St. Margaret Mary Church, but because of conflicting information, didn’t seek charges.

10:41 a.m.: A man was arrested at a residence in the 1400 block of S. Chestnut St. on suspicion of domestic violence.

9:56 p.m.: A driver was pulled over near S. Broadway and Stratton Drive and arrested on suspicion of DWAI, failing to use a turn signal and being under the influence of alcohol while possessing a loaded firearm.

Monday, March 21

2:39 p.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of stealing about $239 in goods from Wal-Mart and avoiding arrest. A female passenger in his car was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

2:28 p.m.: A man was cited at a residence near First and S. Market streets after three dogs were found running at large.

2:35 p.m.: A man was arrested at Montezuma County Court on suspicion of for violating an order prohibiting him from drinking or possessing alcohol.

Tuesday, march 22

5:56 p.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting and resisting arrest at FB Organics, 1 W. Main St.

4:50 p.m.: A woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant at a residence in the 500 block of S. Madison St.

2:01 p.m.: A woman was cited for trespass at the Cortez Public Library, 202 N. Park St.

1:06 p.m.: A man was arrested in the 600 block of N. Elm St. on suspicion of third-degree assault, harassment, domestic violence and violating bond conditions.

12:10 p.m.: A man reported that someone had spray-painted a derogatory word on his car in the 600 block of N. Elm St.

12:33 a.m.: A driver with a California license was arrested on a warrant from Archuleta County.
