The family of Gilmer Pickens wants to express their gratitude and thanks for the outpouring of love, concern and support during Gilmer’s illness and passing.
We were overwhelmed by all the cards, emails, texts, and comments on the Ertel Funeral Home website in addition to all the food, calls and visits. Gilmer was an incredible man that touched the lives of many people in this community and we have been reminded of that many times over by those who felt he made such a difference in their lives. It has been a true testament for the life he lived.
