Thank you to everyone who helped make the Community Thanksgiving dinner a beautiful, calm, warm, and tasty event. Thanks to all those who donated food and funds; to those who cooked and prepared turkeys and made gravy; to those who baked pies; and to the forty-eight (!) volunteers who set up, served, cleaned up after all the happy eaters had left; and to those who boxed and delivered meals to the home-bound. Thanks also to the United Methodist Church for the loan of their warming cabinet which helped make everything run smoothly. To all who came to take part in the meal and share their time and companionship with one another, thank you. We are so fortunate to be part of a community that will come together like you did.
