The Friends of the Cortez Farmers Market is looking for a few more friends to volunteer their time once a month to help out at the market on Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. until noon, June through October.
Along with the market manager, friends sell and redeem Market Bucks and SNAP Card Dollars, help people find their favorite vendor or find their way around the Four Corners region, distribute regional gardening information, and generally act as goodwill ambassadors for the market. Friends also help the market manager break down the booth at the end of the day. Its a way to spend a Saturday morning while meeting and greeting your friends.
