Serving my country set my life on a new course. It gave me an inner satisfaction that I did my part, I served. One of many who gave, one of many types of service. “All gave some, some gave all.”
I served not to receive honor or praise. But when honored I don’t judge the honor, no matter how great or small or location. Isilently welcome it with appreciation.
