A big thank you to the Tanner Family and to Keenan Ertel and his crew for another outstanding Pinto Bean. The fireworks this year were outstanding!!! I find the only thing disappointing about the tournament was the lack of coverage by our newspaper. The picture in the paper was not even a picture of the winner and the tiny article about the tournament itself was paltry! There are some excellent golfers in town for that weekend. I thought the next issue of the paper would have a good article, but I was disappointed yet again. I’m not a golfer,’but I see the money that pours into our community that weekend. Shame on the Journal for not giving it some coverage. I hope to see better next year.
