The Dolores High School dance team is putting on a Jungle Book "Bare Necessities" pee wee camp for kids ages 3 through fifth grade. The camp costs $45 and includes a fabulous T-shirt, adorable bear ears, instruction from spirited high school team members, and a performance at 11 a.m. after the Escalante Days Parade on Aug. 8. The camp starts on Monday, Aug. 3, and lasts until Friday, Aug. 7 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. You can register that Monday from 3-4 p.m., or pre-register with Deb (970) 749-5638.
Volleyball camp
Members of the Dolores High School volleyball team that participated in the Fort Lewis College team camp tournament placed second in their division. They were one of over 40 teams at the camp.

The old press box behind the bleachers of the football field has been torn down.
Fall registration
Fall registration for all Dolores Schools will be on Aug. 5 and 6, from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m., then 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on both days. All new students need to bring a copy of their birth certificate, immunizations, and proof of residency. If they are in 10th, 11th, or 12th grade a copy of their transcripts are needed. All students need to register on Aug. 5 and 6 even if they participated in a pre-registration in the spring or summer.
Fall physicals
Middle school sport physicals are Aug. 5 from 5-8 p.m., followed by the middle school parent falls sports meeting at 6 p.m.
High school sport physicals are Aug. 6 from 5-8 p.m., followed by the high school parent sports meeting on Aug. 6 at 6 p.m.
