Four Corners Community Bank, along with Cortez Retail Enhancement Association, will be hosting an EMV business conversion seminar next Wednesday, June 24 from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Destination Grill (next to the Holiday Inn).
As of Oct. 1, 2015, businesses that are NOT equipped to take EMV (chip cards) will be liable for any fraudulent transactions. Those who are equipped to take these cards, however will be protected from losses. FCCB and CREA have opened this informative session up to anyone who is interested in learning more.
