Wednesday, June 3

11:06 a.m. Police responded to Ole West Trailer Park in response to a handicap placard that was stolen from a vehicle while parked at Walmart.

11:19 a.m. Police responded to Safeway for a possible shoplifting. Store officials didn’t see the male steal anything, but he was pepper spayed and arrested for interfering with police.

Thursday, June 4

10:59 a.m. Police responded to City Market after a two women and two children allegedly ate fried chicken and drank two fountain drinks at the deli and then stole a pack of diapers. The diapers were recovered, and one woman was ticketed for shoplifting.

12:40 p.m. Police responded to St. Barnabas Church after an intoxicated man passed out on the floor. He was arrested for violating a protection order.

2:13 p.m. Police responded to City Market after a woman allegedly placed a deli sandwich and several burritos inside a child’s stroller and left without paying. She as ticketed for shoplifting and issued a no-trespass order.

5:11 p.m. Police found a man and woman unconscious in City Park. The male subject was ticketed with open container and possession of alcohol.

Friday, June 5

6:17 a.m. A woman reported an iPod that contained two videos of her was stolen from her unlocked vehicle on the 300 block of Harrison Street.

10:51 p.m. A woman reported that teenagers hit a male with a rock while he was sleeping near the Cortez Rec Center. His right eye was injured.

Saturday, June 6

1 a.m. A man was stopped for driving the wrong way on a one-way street. The driver, who wasn’t wearing any pants, was arrested for DUI after registering a .21 blood alcohol content.

10:52 a.m. Three men were ticketed for open container violations at City Park.

1:08 p.m. A woman reported her purse containing $122 was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 500 block of Juniper Place.

7:52 p.m. Police responded to a disturbance call at Front Row Seat. After a man reportedly urinated on himself, medics were called, but they refused to assist. The man was given a courtesy ride and ticketed.

8:06 p.m. Police responded to the Cork & Bottle after an intoxicated man attempted to assault an employee. The subject was arrested.

Monday, June 8

1:56 p.m. Police responded to Southwest Memorial Hospital in reference to a child playing in the street. The autistic child was returned to his mother. A man helping to search for the boy was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
