Bill Vicary and Davin Montoya prepare the chuck wagon dinner Wednesday afternoon. The meal was moved inside at the fairgrounds because of the rain.
Bud Winbourn relaxes while the food cooks for the chuck wagon dinner. Winbourn said the secret to good chuck wagon cooking is to hire good help so you can put your feet up. He was actually helping cook the 300 biscuits, 14 cobblers, 200 pounds of meat and 40 pounds of beans.
