Mancos teen headed to USA pentathlon championships

Teslin Stecher, 14, from Mancos and Seamus Millet, 16, from Durango, will be driving up together to Colorado Springs next week for the USA Pentathlon National Championships on June 21-24. Millet has won a tournament at the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center, and Stecher has won a regional championship in New Mexico.

Stecher is currently at Twin Lakes Colorado at the High Mountain Running Camp put on by Durango cross-country coach David MacMillan. They plan on running 3 of the Collegiate 14ers as well as some of the lower peaks.
