The Cortez Public Library hosts Play-Ground Theatre on Wednesday, June 17, at 2 p.m. in the library’s next segment of its summer Family Entertainment Series.
Mia and Jeff of the Play-Ground Theatre present “Green Scene,” introducing the world’s first organic superhero, SuperNatural. Born on Earth Day, and raised on peace, love, granola and a variety of trail mixes, SuperNatural and sidekick Sprout are here to save the planet from Toxic’s Waste’s Pollution Potion.
The show also highlights lovable recycling pirates Captain Underwear and Long John Slipper, and kids get a chance to show off their knowledge of sustainable themes in The Green Game Show.
