The League of Women Voters of Montezuma County will meet on June 13, at 9 a.m., at the Ponderosa Restaurant in Dolores. The program will be presented by Ole Bye, Executive Director of the Southwest Farm Fresh Co-op.
One of the major changes in Montezuma County in the past five years has been the return of young farmers to the area. The program concerns the successes and challenges facing these farmers as they look for suitable land to farm and try to get their produce to market.
The meeting is free and open to the public.
