The article about the twister that was sighted on Tuesday May 18 said that residents were advised to take cover. Only people with cell phones were given the reverse 911 and The Cortez Journal only had it on Facebook. so if you don’t have a cell phone and are not on Facebook all day long, you were not advised about a twister being in the area.
