The Telluride Mountain Film Fest and Great Outdoors Silent Auction at the Dolores Community Center. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and films start at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $10. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Information: doloresriverfestival.com.

For Pets' Sake Humane Society hosts a low-cost dog and cat vaccination clinic, 9 a.m. to noon at the IFA Country Store, 10501 Highway 491 in Cortez. The Mt. Lookout Grange (680 Grange Ave, Mancos) hosts a presentation at 7 p.m. by the Montezuma School to Farm Project about the program's work to connect our farming heritage with our growing future. All are welcome to this free event.

The Montelores Early Childhood Council will hold its next monthly luncheon meeting on the first at 11:45 a.m., in downstairs meeting room 110, in the Johnson Building, 925 S. Broadway, in Cortez. "Super 'Sylum," a play written by Mancos students. The play is about four young people have been placed in an insane asylum for believing that they are super heroes. Performances will be Monday, May 4 and Tuesday, May at 7 p.m. in the Performance Center in Mancos. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students, children and seniors.

Cortez Middle School Spring Concert, 7 p.m., in the CMS main gym, featuring the music of the sixth- seventh- and eighth-grade bad, CMS Jazz Band and a combined number. Free. Everyone is welcome.

Wednesday, MAY 6

Mancos Kindergarten Open House, 5:30-6:30 p.m. Enrolling families receive an information packet, and may meet other parents and students. Call 533-7744 to provide your child's name to the school. Students need to be 5 years old on or before Sept. 15, 2015 to enroll.
