Words cannot adequately describe what an honor and privilege it was to be a small part of the recent, record-setting, MCHS musical production “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.”

First, thank you to the community to your incredible support and attendance. We received a standing ovation just about every show. Mr. Nicholas Sandner and Mrs. Marla Sitton were incredible to work with and did a phenomenal job as did the orchestra (they were fantastic). Those two are both amazingly knowledgeable, gifted and talented individuals.

I was truly blown away with how much time energy and effort goes into a production of this magnitude. The Saturday shows took about 13 hours to complete. The back stage crew, make-up and costume kids were all incredible too.

This school system has some incredibly talented kids and extremely dedicated teachers.

The elementary kids, the middle-schoolers and high-schoolers were so much fun to be around and their commitment to the show and their own parts was wonderful to behold.

It was also so meaningful to work with my daughter, who is a senior on her last high school show.

Of course, it was a hoot to work with my fellow inventors and the main characters and other characters were wonderful to work with too.

I was blown away by the talent of the dancers too.

This was one of the most memorable and enjoyable experiences I’ve ever had outside of my other job as a pastor.

Thank you to everyone who made it possible (like the parents who helped with food etc.)

And if I left you out it’s because I forgot, not because you were not appreciated.

Great job one and all. Wow! What a great experiemnce.

Thank you for allowing me to be a part this show and embracing me with open arms.
