Improve intersection before tragedy hits

How many more accidents have to happen at the intersection of Highway 491 and Road N before the county commissioners and CDOT do something to ease the flow of traffic at this heavily used intersection? On March 26 at around 5:15 p.m. there was a two vehicle accident where both vehicles flipped over. At the time of writing this, I still don’t know if there were any fatalities. However, this was the very reason that I voted for the new county commissioner, to resolve this serious issue. My 17-year-old daughter drives through this intersection daily, as do I and all of my neighbors. The heavy truck traffic from Rain-for-Rent and the Tucker Trucking company only adds to the already narrow and overloaded intersection. My prayer is that it doesn’t take the loss of lives before a preventative action is taken and an intersection like that at Road M and Highway 491 is constructed. Thank you for listening and sharing.
