Library grateful for a full Montezuma’s Table

On behalf of the staff and patrons of the Cortez Public Library, I would like to express my gratitude to everyone involved with Montezuma’s Table 2015. The wonderful chefs and staff at each of the restaurants: The Farm, Loungin’ Lizard, Pepperhead, San Juan Coffee, and Stonefish, as well the opening host site of the Sunflower Theater all put on a first class event in every way.

From the keepsake menus to food and drinks crafted by the gifted and creative chefs. From the traveling music to the traveling readers, all of the details were covered with care. I would also like to thank all of the attendees, who made for great company as we ate, strolled, imbibed, and ate some more on a beautiful Cortez Spring night. The tireless work put in by all of the parties involved shows tremendous dedication and generosity to the community of Cortez.

The library is honored to be the beneficiary of such a magnificent event. The staff of the library will work hard to make sure all of the funds raised are put back into the community with the same thought and care as was shown at Montezuma’s Table.
