10:51 a.m. Two men were arrested at Parque de Vida after reports that the men were disturbing the peace. The men appeared to be highly intoxicated and one was reportedly yelling at baseball players while they played a game. One of the men was yelling, “Yeah, hit the ball like you do your girlfriend.” The men were issued summons for possessing alcohol, and one was issued a summons for disturbing the peace and resisting arrest.

2:19 p.m. A hardware store in the 200 block of W. Main Street reported that a customer loaded up roof shingles and drove off without paying for them.

6:46 p.m. Two people were arrested after a restaurant in the 1200 block of East Main Street reported a skipped meal bill worth $100. When an officer arrived, one of the women in the group returned to retrieve her phone from the table. She refused to name her companions, saying she wasn’t a snitch. She and another diner were arrested for underage consumption of alcohol and theft.

Tuesday, March 17

10:40 p.m. Police were dispatched to the 500 block of E. Arbecam Avenue for a possible heroin overdose. A man was transported to the Southwest Memorial Hospital. A woman was arrested for disturbing the peace after officers returned to the scene because of reports of yelling and slamming doors. After being asked to be quiet because it was 2 a.m., she continued to yell. After she was arrested, she went inside the home to look for her keys. That’s when officers discovered a used hypodermic syringe in the dining room. The syringe will be sent to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation for testing.
