Let’s be clear, I am not upset over one cop’s personal opinion. I am not upset at the idea of real debate over pot. I am upset because our cops are not lawmakers.
When we give our police force more than enough power, Ferguson is not the worst of what may happen. Dona Anna county in New Mexico is what us Southwesterners can expect, home of the two largest lawsuits in police history.
If cops wish to make the rules instead of enforce them, they should stop being cops. We tell you our laws to enforce, not the other way around.
