FLC professor hired by New York college

Suzanne Wilhelm, who has served as associate dean and professor of law in the School of Administration at Fort Lewis College, has been hired as dean of the Huether School of Business at The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York.

Wllhelm will begin her new job July 1.

At Saint Rose, will oversee the college’s business programs leading to undergraduate degrees in business administration, accounting, economics, entrepreneurship, marketing and human resource management, and master’s degrees in business administration and accounting.

“Suzanne Wilhelm is an exceptional administrator and educator with a proven ability as an effective collaborative leader,” Saint Rose President Carolyn F. Stefano said in a statement. “She will bring extensive academic and professional experience and accomplishments to Saint Rose and will be an invaluable addition to our leadership team.”

At FLC, Wilhelm maintained the business school’s accreditation and strategic planning. She also developed and administered foreign study programs, hired faculty and scheduled courses.

The FLC business school offers four degrees with 14 academic programs.
