A big thank-you to our fantastic Southwest Memorial Hospital. Dr. Terry Cook and Dr. Karla Demby admitted me to the hospital. Then Dr. Kent Aikin was my hospitalist, who was in charge of my care.
The nurses Maurine, Heather, Mary, Jody and Allen gave me loving attention. The aides and all the rest of the staff were excellent at their jobs too. Chris, in the hospital pharmacy, made sure I got the right medicine. X-ray and Radiology were so efficient.
Every time one of those Angels came into my room, there was a smile to help me. I want to thank the cafeteria also. Since I have Celiac Disease, they made sure that all my meals were gluten-free Those chefs made delicious meals. They even had GF bread that was fluffy. It’s UDI’S frozen bread. There was nothing wrong with my stomach, so I enjoyed everything they brought me. It was all 4-star quality.
At a later date, I was in the ER. The ambulance people, Jacqueiline, Mark and Matt took me there. Very courteous and so helpful. Dr. Turpin was on duty along with Jency and a few others.
Our little town of Cortez is so lucky to have a great hospital like Southwest Memorial and so well staffed.
