The Workplace Wellness Initiative, a free service of the Montezuma County Public Health Department, wants to thank Slavens True Value Hardware Store, and their staff, for hosting them for two days last week.
This included a brief informational session on tobacco, some education, some facts and some good news about support for quitting. The other piece of the initiative included a cholesterol screening with professional interpretation of the results which were immediate and dialogue about making some healthy lifestyle choices. It was really fun to meet the Slavens employees and help them plan to make healthier choices.
