The annual meeting of Southwestern Colorado Livestock Association, at the Cortez Elks Lodge. The morning session begins at 9 a.m. with reports from county and state officials. A potluck dinner is at noon, compliments of Southwestern Cowbelles. The business meeting will begin at 1 p.m., with election of directors. Evening festivities start at 7 p.m. with a steak dinner and the announcement of the Stockman and Cowbelle of the Year. Dinner and dance tickets can be purchased from any board member. Blair will share edible treats made from the recipes included in the book. Becktel will talk about rendering the drawings for the book.
