SouthWest Colorado Concerts' annual board of directors meet at 6 p.m. in the conference room at the First United Methodist Church, 515 N. Park, Cortez. All season ticket holders are welcome.

Annual Mancos Citizen of the Year Award and Social at 6 p.m. in the Mancos Valley Visitor Center, 101 E. Bauer. This year's recipient has been selected by the Lion's Club. Info: 533-7434.

The Great Decisions group at the Mancos Public Library has its first meeting of 2015 at 3:30 p.m. in the Community Meeting Room. The group is seeking new members. Mancos Pizza, in the P&D Grocery Store on U.S. 160 W. Frontage Road, hosts a fundraiser for two families. Fifty percent of pizza sales will be donated to the family of Hayden Kocourek, who needs a kidney transplant, and Gary Baker, who is has medical problems. Includes a bake sale. Info: 970 533-7932.

Buford Wayt's art displays at Grace's Kitchen, starting at 1:30 p.m. at the Episcopal Church, North and Elm Streets, in Cortez. Lee Bartley performs a solo piano concert at 2 p.m., followed by a reception. A free-will offering will benefit Grace's Kitchen.

A free legal clinic for parties who have no attorney, 2-4 p.m., on the second Thursday of each month at the Mancos Public Library, 211 W. First St. By computer link, attorneys will answer questions, help fill out forms and explain the process for civil litigation. Walk-ins welcome. First-come, first-served.

Montezuma County Democratic Party Reorganization meeting at 6 p.m., SpruceTree Espresso House, 318 E. Main. A presentation about the book "The Wild Wisdom of Weeds" will be given at 6:30 p.m. at Mancos Public Library, 211 W. First St., Mancos. Local author Katrina Blair and Mancos artist Jaime Becktel will present a slideshow of the 13 essential plants for human survival featured in the new book. Blair will share edible treats made from the recipes included in the book. Becktel will talk about rendering the drawings for the book.
