Donors Choose looking for donations

Donors Choose, which assists teachers in getting materials, books, equipment and other supplies for their schools, requests support for its project “Smiles on the Faces of Children.”

The project helps provide books, Rosetta Stone language learning licenses for students and parents, and headsets with microphones.

Grant time runs out Feb. 12.

Rosetta Stone helps parents and students become proficient in English language by having them practice listening, speaking, reading, writing and spelling. Parents will be invited to evening classes in which they can use Rosetta Stone to help them be more successful in their careers and help their children with English.

Rosetta Stone is an engaging program, and research supports its accomplishments.

The other part of the grant includes putting more books into the hands of students.

To donate, go to DonorsChoose.org and enter your ZIP Code on the map to find the “Smiles on the Faces of Children” donation page or go to http://bit.ly/1Gxk3O6.
