Mildred Road. 6:30 p.m.: An intoxicated woman was arrested for shoplifting at City Market, 508 E. Main St. 11:57 a.m.: A woman was arrested on a warrant at Montezuma County Court, 601 N. Mildred Road. 2:21: p.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant at Montezuma County District Court, 109 W. Main St. 3:28 p.m.: An apparently intoxicated woman was arrested at her residence in the 900 block of Brookside Drive, and one of her dogs was also taken into custody by an animal control officer. 6:26 p.m.: A man who lives in the 200 block of E. Seventh St. called police to report the theft of $200 in cash and a chain saw, which he had purchased from a man who had stayed briefly at his home. The man now believed that the chain saw that he’d purchased had been stolen before he bought it, based on information he had read in a Journal Police Blotter. He gave the suspect’s phone number to police. 4:44 a.m.: A woman was pulled over in the 600 block of E. Main St. after failing to use a turn signal. The driver was arrested on a warrant, and one of her two female passengers was arrested on two warrants. 3:57 p.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant outside his residence in the 600 block of N. Elm St. 6:33 p.m.: A woman was arrested on three warrants at the National 9 Motel, 300 W. Main St., after a report of a disturbance. 1:13 a.m.: A female fugitive was arrested after five police officers and two sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of S. Cedar St. The woman was arrested on a felony drug-related warrant and a warrant for escape. A man in the residence was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant. 2:03 p.m.: A man was served a no-trespass order and arrested on a protection order barring him from consuming alcohol after he was found intoxicated in the men’s bathroom at the Cortez Recreation Center, 425 N. Roger Smith Ave. 3:32 a.m.: A man was arrested at a residence in the 500 block of S. Madison St. for violating a protection order that barred him from consuming alcohol or contacting a woman at the same address. 11:38 a.m.: A man was arrested in City Park for possessing alcohol in a park and for violating a court order barring him from consuming alcohol. 3:31 p.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault after he allegedly struck a man outside City Market, 508 E. Main St. His alleged victim was arrested on an active warrant. 10:29 p.m.: A man was pulled over in the 1700 block of E. Main St. after allegedly running a red light. His female passenger was arrested on a warrant. 2:35 a.m.: A male driver was arrested in the 500 block of N. Broadway on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se, failing to stop at a stop sign and defective tail lights. His passenger, who also was considered intoxicated, was left with the vehicle while he waited for a sober person to pick it up. 7:19 p.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant while walking near Fillmore St. and Montezuma Ave. 12:13 a.m.: A woman was pulled over in the 10 block of S. Maple St. and arrested on suspicion of DUI. A friend picked up her dog and car. 10:10 p.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant at Montezuma County jail, 730 E. Driscoll St. 12:35 p.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant at Montezuma County Court, 601 N. Mildred Road. 1:35 p.m.: Police responded to a report of a woman having a seizure in the 100 block of W. North St. and arrested her on a felony warrant for property damage. 5:04 p.m.: A man was arrested on two warrants in the 200 block of N. Adams St. 8:59 p.m.: A woman was arrested at The Bridge Shelter, 601 N. Mildred Road for violating bond conditions barring her from consuming alcohol.
