Every so often, I hear complaints that teachers have too many vacations. Just to let the citizens of Dolores know, I am confident that the teachers of our community don't really have "vacations." During the past two weeks I have spoken with several teachers who have spent hours at school or at home grading finals, essays, and other projects, or working in their classrooms to move or reorganize. Not one of those teachers complained. They love their jobs, they love the kids they teach, and we need to appreciate and thank them for doing such a great job.
