The 2010/11 5A/4A Southwestern League All-Conference basketball teams were announced.
On the boys side, Montezuma-Cortez High School senior guard Corey Adams was named first-team All-Conference, while junior forward Jay Rainer was named to the second team.
On the girls side, senior Kelia Yanito made the first team for M-CHS. Junior Sydney Bayles and senior Keely Yanito were named second-team All-Conference representing the Lady Panthers.
The 2010/11 2A/1A San Juan Basin League All-Conference teams were announced.
Dove Creek Lady Bulldogs senior forward Kyli Banks was named first-team 1A All Conference and named the leagues 1A Player of the Year. Dove Creek junior guard Jessica Heaton, freshman forward Madison Young and freshman guard Shelbie Knuckles were named honorable mention All-Conference.
For 2A, Dolores seniors Cortney Brunner and Cheyenne McCoy made All Conference, as well as All State. Brunner was also named the 2A SJBL Player of the Year. Mancos senior Kendra Cox was named to the All Conference and All State teams, and senior Kelsey Corbin made honorable mention.
For the boys, Dolores sophomore Cody Carroll and Mancos senior Emilio Marquez made first-team All Conference. Honorable mention listed Dolores seniors Tyler Underwood and Michael Neubert, and Mancos seniors Cade Mitchell and Cody Miller.
