Toh-Atin Gallery, 145 W. Ninth St., is exhibiting a special selection of work by Stanton Englehart, a well-loved Durango art figure who passed away in 2009. Englehart, the former head of the Fort Lewis College Art Department, is known for capturing the immensity and depth of Four Corners landscapes through his work. The show will feature large oil paintings on linen, smaller watercolors and mixed media pieces. The paintings, such as this one, “Rainbow Bridge,” were selected by his daughter, Sharon, and his grandson, Chris Durnin.
