Wow! Three whole protestors and all were related (Journal, Dec. 2). We’re to believe because they moved here from St. Louis they somehow know more about what happened in Ferguson than the rest of us who actually kept up and read the findings of the investigation and the grand jury. I have a plaque on my kitchen wall that says “It’s better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”
Mike Brown was a fleeing felon who had robbed a store and assaulted a clerk half his size. He didn’t need no stinking gun. Size was his weapon.
Then, when an officer gave him a lawful order, instead of following the order he assaulted the officer. The officer had no choice but to do what he was trained to do: Go after the thug and stop him before he hurt someone else or even killed someone.
The forensics and six black witnesses back up the officer.
Now some truths: His mother never married his father nor did she marry her boyfriend who is being called his stepfather. They didn’t raise the kid. His grandmother raised him so, stop with the phony protests and thinking his mother cared.
Now they want to destroy the officer, burn the town to the ground and then play the victims so they can collect a big payday on the grave of the thug.
