We would like to thank Sheriff Dennis Spruell and his department for a job well done. Sheriff Spruell responded to the voters in the Montezuma County when he stood strong for gun rights. We appreciate his endeavor concerning these laws. Since we own both a store and home in Montezuma County, we are grateful for the deputy patrol cars that we have seen on many county roads. We never made a call to the Sheriff’s Office that was not responded to immediately. There was a robbery at our store and it was solved within 24 hours.
