In the Oct. 17 edition of the Journal you endorsed certain candidates on Page 4A. When I worked for the Cortez newspaper it was its mission to educate the voters on all the candidates and then let them vote their choice. The paper did not try to influence the voters one way or another, but that was back when the Cortez paper was a real newspaper; you guys are a fake.

Plus what you are doing is against the law the law: 1-7.5-107 (3) (b) C.R.S. This law says any person who, by use of force, or other means, unduly influences an elector to vote in any certain way is a criminal and can be fined or put in jail.

You know if you don’t have enough courage to sign your name to what you print, why should anyone trust you?
