I was so impressed with the Cortez Area Chamber of Commerce Young Professional’s candidates forum at First National Bank. Every candidate was represented – even those running unopposed – and the questions asked were well-crafted and thought-provoking. What an amazing opportunity for our younger, often time-strapped community members to get involved in making conscious choices about decisions that impact the future of our community. Kudos to Kinsey Ertel, Will Furse, Dylan Schwindt, Kyle Rice, and Kari Schleher for putting on a fantastic event!
