The Mesa Elementary School Girls on the Run program will be holding a practice 5k run on Oct. 28 at 3:30 p.m. The run will take place at Mesa Elementary School.
The Girls on the Run program is a youth development program that inspires 3rd through 5th grade girls to be joyful, healthy and confident through the integration of running.
The practice run will be a chance for the girls to experience a 5k run before they do their actual run in Telluride on Nov. 8. The practice run will be a fun event. Individuals are encouraged to attend the event, cheer, throw glitter and encourage the girls to do their best.
